The preservation and continuous improvement of our streets and roads are essential to sustain the quality of our neighborhoods, the business community, and our city as a whole. I will prioritize identifying opportunities to fund additional improvements that are greatly needed.
Economic Development
I am a strong proponent of a proactive economic development plan that adds value to our community and enhances the lives of our residents. Focusing on business retention and protecting valuable commercial property is key to retaining and attracting businesses as well as providing sales tax dollars. With the City Council’s strategic goal of developing a downtown area, it is very important to have solid leadership in place. I am the right leader to guide this effort.
Fiscal responsibility
As your next O’Fallon Ward 5 Councilwoman, I will be a devoted steward of your tax dollars. Responsible spending focused on preserving the quality of life for our residents is critically important, especially now as we are all feeling the impact of the current economic conditions. My priority is to ensure that your tax dollars are used wisely while continuing to provide a high level of service.
