TIMELINE
Linda’s Story
A Missouri native and proud American, Linda Ragsdale has fought for conservative candidates and issues. Now she wants to fight for O’Fallon Residents.
Linda hails from a Gold Star Family with a long history of family members proudly serving our country which drives her lifelong pursuit of Servant Leadership. This along with her interest in politics, led her to volunteer for many conservative campaigns and ultimately the formation of her first small business managing campaign finance.
Attending both Auburn University and the University of Memphis, Linda earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She has over 20 years of accounting experience including, audit, industry, and public accounting. In 2018, she pivoted from the corporate world to form her second small business providing accounting services to clients across the country. As a small business owner herself, Linda is a fierce advocate for small businesses and understands the impacts of legislation.
As a Leader, Linda has served as the President of the St Charles Young Republicans and State Chair of the Missouri Federation of Young Republicans as well as several leadership roles with the Young Republican National Federation. She was a Board Member of the St Louis County Pachyderms and is currently a member of the St Charles County Pachyderms. Linda also served as the Secretary for the St Charles County Republican Central Committee. In 2020, she became a founding member of the Federated Republican Women of St Charles County where she served a term as the Vice President of Programs and is now the President elect.
Devoted to serving veterans and her community, Linda has supported and volunteered for many organizations including the St. Charles Veterans Museum, H.E.R.O.S. Cares, Cobblestone Homeowners Association, and the O’Fallon Reapportionment Commission. She is also an inaugural Board Member of the St. Charles Leadership Council. As an Auburn alum, Linda served as the Treasurer and more recently, the President of the St Louis Auburn Club. She was instrumental in securing funds to establish the St Louis Auburn Club Endowment, a scholarship fund that benefits St Louis metro students attending Auburn University.
Linda and her elderly father reside in north O’Fallon, a place they are both very happy to call home. Her father, who attended West Point, Army Special Forces during the Cuban missile crisis, and a small business owner of 45 years, has had a,profound influence in shaping her love of country, conservative values, and servant leadership.
As your O’Fallon Ward 5 Council Member, Linda will work hard to ensure fiscal responsibility, improved infrastructure, and strong economic development supporting our O’Fallon community for the long-term.
